The Digital Media Licensing Association (DMLA) has been the united voice of the media licensing industry for over 70 years. First, for analog and then for digital, as the industry evolved. We focus on Advocacy, Education and Connectivity. By joining the DMLA, you and your company will gain access to a powerful network of industry professionals. Whether you're a creator, distributor, licenser, legal or technology professional supporting the industry, our organization is dedicated to connecting you with the resources, information and people needed to succeed.
The benefits of membership are numerous. As a member, you'll have the opportunity to participate in a variety of educational programs and events. Our events will highlight key drivers impacting the business, explore new technologies that may disrupt the business, and cover legal issues that may impact licensing and copyright. From copyright law and digital rights management to emerging technologies and industry trends, our programs are designed to keep you up-to-date and informed.
But the benefits of membership go beyond education and networking. As a member of the DMLA, you'll also have a powerful voice in shaping the future of our industry. Through our advocacy efforts and policy initiatives, we work to ensure that the interests of our members are represented and protected at all levels of government.
In short, being a member of the Digital Media Licensing Association means being part of a vibrant and supportive community of professionals who are committed to advancing the digital media licensing industry. Whether you're looking to learn, connect, or make a difference, our organization is the perfect place to start.
There are five categories of membership, each tailored to:

Industry service providers, including DAM, technology providers, keywording services, law firms, copyright enforcement agencies, and business consultancies.
Non-profits working in or in support of digital media, licensing and copyright.
