Permission Machine bvba has continued its international expansion by opening an office in London, United Kingdom. Permission Machine has offices in Belgium, France, the United States and now the United Kingdom.

It will strengthen Permission Machine’s image search and infringement enforcement for all its global clients. The new office will handle all cases in the United Kingdom directly. The UK business will be managed by Christopher Vaughan, who brings with him a wealth of experience in the licensing of visual media, most recently as head of distribution at Image Source.

Mr. Vaughan says, “I’m delighted to be part of such a wonderful team at Permission Machine, and we’ve already had a good start to our UK operations. I’ve always fought for fair license fees and remuneration for photographers and I feel very strongly and am extremely excited about pursuing compensation owed to creators in the UK.”

About Permission Machine

Permission Machine was established in 2013 by Ywein Van den Brande, a Belgian intellectual property attorney with degrees from Leuven University, UCLA and Rouen University. He founded the company to pursue infringements ethically, offering the service free of charge to photographers and agencies. Permission Machine’s proprietary technology ensures its clients see accurate filtered results to ensure their intellectual property rights are protected. The company has seen tremendous growth over the past three years with success based on achieving quick negotiated settlements.
