Join DMLA’s discussion on maximizing diverse media
Media from diverse communities has always been important. The past two years, however, have seen an unprecedented rise in the use of these materials in our industry, especially among corporate clients.
In celebration of Black History Month and to launch DMLA’s 2022 webinar series, join colleagues to discuss your own company’s diverse media, hear about best practices for managing these unique materials, and learn about strategies to maximize the value (both cultural and monetary) of diverse photos, videos, and other media — during Black History Month and beyond.
Details: 1 pm EST Feb. 25. Free for DMLA members; $59.99 for non-members.

It’s election season at DMLA
Voting for the 2022-2024 DMLA Board of Directors has commenced and will remain open until Midnight EST on Feb. 28. Nominations closed Jan. 29, and ballots were emailed to each member company’s voting representative on Jan. 30.
Eight positions are open, each with one nominated candidate:
President: Leslie Hughes (iSpyVisuals)
Vice President: Candice Murray (Shutterstock)
Secretary: Julie Zentmaier Sloane (Science Source Stock Photo & Video)
Treasurer: Joe Naylor (ImageRights)
And four members-at-large: Bobby Dicks (CNN Collection), Josiane Faubert (PICHA), Mark Milstein (Microstocksolutions) and Thomas Smith (Gado Images)
General and Corporate membership levels include voting rights. Only one vote is allowed for each of those companies. That makes every vote important. If you have been designated the voting member of your company, please check your inboxes, including junk mail, for the ballot email and return it by Midnight EST Monday, Feb. 28. If you cannot find your ballot, email elaine@digitalmedialicensing.org.
