Education: Conference

Save October 24-27 for the 2022 Digital Media Licensing Conference

That’s right - we’re doing it again! DMLA's past two virtual conferences have attracted more participants from more companies in more countries than before covid. And that’s not all. The virtual format allowed more speakers to cover more topics than ever before. So, we plan to keep the education on line and already are attracting phenomenal keynotes and panelists. The popular Sponsor Showcase will make a bigger comeback as well.

So circle Oct. 24-27, 2022, and plan join us for the industry event of the year. Tickets will go on sale this summer.

Connections

Are you ready to join old friends and make new?

While our virtual educational programming continues to gather strength, we all miss the chemistry of in-person events. DMLA is considering hosting at least one event this summer to reconnect members and help content and service providers discover each other. Before we make any decisions, though, we need to hear from you.

Are you looking for new content or service providers? Want to learn how to implement AI? Please click the survey button below and answer the few, quick questions. We will make the decision soon, so don’t delay!

Copyright Office Launches New Copyright Claims Board Website

The US Copyright Office launched ccb.gov, a website serving as a gateway to the first copyright small-claims tribunal in the United States, the Copyright Claims Board (CCB). The launch of ccb.gov is a major milestone toward the full opening of the CCB to creators and users of copyrighted materials later this spring.

The website is the new online home of the CCB and is focused on helping everyone understand the mission and the processes of the CCB. Once the CCB starts hearing claims later this spring, ccb.gov will become the primary location for information about filing and responding to claims, opting out of a proceeding, accessing the CCB’s Handbook and contacting the CCB with questions.
