Google’s About this Image

Earlier this year, Google announced the launch of About This Image to help users feel more confident about what they are seeing online. The tool helps users check out the credibility of an image they see online. Some of the things a user can discover include:

  • An image’s history

  • How other sites use and describe an image

  • An image’s metadata

DMLA Members - Dues Notice

In late 2022, the DMLA Board voted for the first increase to member dues in many years. The new dues structure was implemented in 2023 for new members. However, we gave existing members a year to plan for the changes.

The time has come - we will be implementing the new dues structure for existing members with the 2024 invoices. General Members and Non-Profit members will be asked to verify their current revenue range. Each will be sent a notice with a link to a short questionnaire to complete. The Principal member identified by your company should watch for an email from DMLA which will be sent this weekWe will also send this information to the accounting contact, if your company has identified one. Corporate, Affiliate and Associate members will continue to pay a flat fee.

Information on membership types and dues may be found by going here. Scroll down to the description of membership categories - click your membership category for detailed information.

Please reach out with any questions to admin@digitalmedialicensing.org.
