DMLA Non-profit Member Application

 

DESCRIPTION

Non-profit membership is a non-voting membership and for non-profit organizations that:

  • Are certified as a 501c-3 or 501c-6 non-profit organization.

  • Manage, own, or produce digital media content that they may license directly or through others, and are impacted by issues of copyright and licensing. Or, as a non-profit, provides support to the industry and aligns with the mission of DMLA.

  • Certify annually to adhere to the DMLA Code of Ethics as specified in the membership application form.

  • Fulfill membership requirements as set by the Membership Committee, approved by the Executive Committee, and which are communicated to the membership.

This is a non-voting membership and is targeted to non-profits impacted by copyright. A non-profit company which manages, owns or produces digital media content may choose to join as a General Member to gain voting rights and participate on the Board or Committees.

Companies who meet the above qualifications but that do not have an office in the US, may now join as a Non-profit member.

DUES

Dues are based on estimated annual revenue levels.

Level 1 (<$1MM) $1000/year
Level 2 (>$1MM) $2000/year

In addition, a one-time $500 onboarding fee will be charged upon acceptance.


BENEFITS

Logo display as member of DMLA. Committee participation, free access to member area of site, free access to webinars, news distribution, access to legal committee input. Priority access to showcase features. Website profile and links.


VOTING OR NON-VOTING

Non-profit Members have no voting rights and may not participate on the Board nor Committees.
